Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015, shared with Ogivlado (thanks!). Poured a darker golden body with a white head. Slightly sweetish aroma with a good tropical blast, slightly dank, quite nice. The taste, though fresh, is lighter than one would expect from a 8% beast, with alcohol very well hidden. It repeats the dank notes and the tropical assault, tea-like notes. Without a doubt, a damn good beer, and a deserving no. 2 or no. 3 (not sure anymore) of the festival!

Ljubljanski Festval Piva, shared with Ogivlado (thanks!). Poured a lovely amber-red body, darker. Tropical fruit and light herb blast in the aroma, vague caramel / maltiness, slightly peppery. Tropical, fruity blast in the taste, slightly dank, just lovely. Almost no bitterness, which is interesting in a way but does make it feel slightly unfinished. Damn good job nevertheless, Pelicon!

Ljubljanski Festrval Piva 2015, shared with Ogivlado (thanks!). Saison with rose hips... wow, they are getting more and more daring. Lovely amber-red body with a white head. Dry aroma, banana peel, slightly funky. Taste,... vaaguely sweet, vague rose, which I probably wouldn’t register as such if I didn’t know what went in, somewhat vinuous, mild, drinkable, interesting, not bad, not great.

Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015. Tried several times over the day (thanks to Dinko I think for the first try). Black, with a thick, tan head, respectable. Strong coffee aroma, quite pleasant. It’s echoed in the taste, full on coffee assault, nice in a way, but quite thin. People say that they’ve had it before, when it was quite better. Hope I get to try another, hopefully better batch again.

Pours a hazy dark amber color, topped with a medium sized and long lasting off-white head with great retention. Intially very pleasant fruity aroma, exotic fruits and peaches, followed by some blueberry notes. Taste starts with minimal fruity sweetness, followed by a solid hoppy bitterness and slight spicy finish. It fulfills the promise of having double character of 3rd Pill IPA, but it’s at the same time gentle enough to be super drinkable. A real complex and enjoyable DIPA.

Bottle, 500 ml from Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Pours black with small short lasting tan head. Coffee aroma, sweetish, oily, but bit acidic as well. Not sure it’s supposed to be this way, not particularly good.

Bottle at the 7th Tasting in Belgrade-Serbia, I think courtesy of Marko and thanks to his diplomatic skills of liaising. Bravo! Pours cloudy light amber color, ivory medium head. Nose: sour notes, astringency, caramel. OK. Mouth: tart, thin, musty. Not terrific but ok.
