Smokey oaky sour dark fruit weird nose. Very malty. Slightly sour mouth with lots of toffee and dark fruit. Slight burnt finish. Very interesting

Sample at Crafted & Cured. The beer pours a clear reddish-orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. The aroma is fruity and floral with some spice notes. Medium body with flavors of cloves, earthy malt and beets. The finish is mildly tart and fruity with a clove aftertaste. Interesting beer, decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a dark brown color with a thin light beige head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, tart fruit and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, mildly sour fruit and a bit of coffee. The finish is moderately tart with a fruity and malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light to medium body with flavors of mildly sour fruit, yeast and subtle spicy rye malt. The finish is tart with a fruity and malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
