330ml bottle, picked up just for the country tick. Clear pale yellow gold colour with a thin white head, fairly good retention. Aroma is malty, mostly corn I think, syrupy. Taste: corn syrup, malty, grainy, sweet, just a slight hint of metallic. Light body, average carbonation, refreshing, nice with spicy food.

0.6l bottle from Carrefour in Taipei. Smooth mild and fruity beginning. The body is dry with sweetish rice hints. Melon and pears there as well. No alcohol, highly drinkable but not too deep. Fresh mild rice-fruity aftertaste, very mellow and soft, hints of rice-sweetness. Really nice one!

0.6l bottle from Carrefour, Taipei. Neutral grainy nose. The Saké starts very sticky, grainy and strange. Intense grain, sticky sweetness, light in body. Easy to drink but very strange in profile, leaving some stickiness on the tongue. Strange neutral sweetish aftertaste, not mine.

0.3l bottle from Carrefour in Taipei. Very smooth and slightly grainy on the tongue. This Saké is soft with hints of sweetness. The alcohol is sharp, sharper till the end, but very soft in body and fruity-fresh. Pears and melon there, round and soft. Very highly drinkable. Nice but too alcoholic for me.

30cl bottle from Carrefour in Taipei. Strange grainy in the nose. The Saké is very soft, smooth, alcoholic. Not too many fruits there, the alcohol is dominant, still easy to drink but if I have to decide, I’ll take the lower ABV-version. Grainy sticky in the aftertaste.

Extreme cheap 0.6l bottle from Carrefour in Taipei. Nose is a bit more aromatic than the other 0.6l bottle. Mild and a bit deeper beginning. Rough, smooth. The body is extreme soft, the alcohol in the back. More fruity than the other brew, I would say somehow deeper and a bit grainy-smooth. Definitively the better one - but still not too deep in flavour - but highly drinkable!

0.6l Extremely cheap Crown-top Bottle from Carrefour in Taipei. Alcoholic sweetish nose. The Saké starts extremely neutral. Soft watery with hints of alcohol. Very soft and mellow, hints of pears. Nearly no aroma and not much alcohol to taste. Better than any cheap vodka, but as a Saké not recommendable. In the aftertaste there are hints of rice and fruit - but that’s it.
