Can from a local shop in Taipei. Clear light golden with a white head. A typical boring Asian Lager. Thin and sweet with cardboard, light fruit and metal. Really boring.

Flasche (330 ml) von Jenny Lou’s, Peking. - Goldgelb mit leichtem Grünstich, blank. - In der Nase der süßliche Geruch von Malzersatzprodukten (es wird Reis aus Taiwan verbraut), ein wenig billige Hopfenherbe, etwas Seife. - Antrunk dünn und fade mit etwas Unkraut, gekochtem Kohl und unangenehm platter Malzsüße. Stark rezent, wäßrig. Im Abgang blasse, schwach unkrautige Herbe bei vorherrschender künstlicher Süße. Keine Spur von gutem Hopfen. Leicht metallischer Nachtrunk. - Wäßriges Billig-Bier, reine Zeitvergeudung.

Can split at Bespin, thanks to Dirty Danny the Smut peddler, 03/09/15. Pale yellow with a moderate white covering. Nose is sweet and sticky pineapple chunks, slightly sickly, candied sugars. Taste comprises more sweet pineapple, sugared pineapple cubes, sweet sweet sweet. Light in body, fine carbonation, sweet close. Pretty gross.

Bottle share at Mr Smith’s Stratoflat. Thanks to Dan for this boost, sugar boost that is. Clear champagne colour beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light with fine carbonation. Sweet soda pop fruits. I think it’s pineapple but with the sugar turned up to 11 it gets hard to tell. No wait there is a little pineapple cube sweets here. Light finish. This would be sweet even for a can of pop.

Can shared in London - thanks to Daniel. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a slight white cream head. Big sugary/artificial fruit aroma, some pineapple juice. Hugely sweet, a little syrupy, with sugary and fake pineapple. Light bodied with average carbonation. Saccharin finish, lightly medicinal, some lemon, more artificial pineapple. Not excellent.

Can thanks to Dan. It pours very light clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is very sweet, tinned pineapple, fruit syrup, sugar and very sweet pear. The taste is crazy sweet, oily, tinned pineapple, pear, corn syrup and graininess, with a short, sweet finish. Light body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Pretty, pretty bad.

Can from Taiwan brough to UK by friends. My RB country #124. Poured a pale yellow gold colour with little by way of head. Vague aroma of malt and grass. Medium sweet with some bitterness. Light body, thin texture. Great to have as a country tick but that’s about all.

Can from Legacy . Slight haze, pale. There was a little head but it crapped out. Mainstream banana and sugar aroma. Similar character but with some tartness as well. Passable, but not exactly Munich-level.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place. Many thanks to Daniel for this rare country tick. Very pale yellow, gasoline coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is artifical fruit, apricot, flavouring, peach. Sweet on the nose. Flavour is composed of sweet fruit flavourings, no beer, fruit juice. Palate is sweet, thin. Not a beer.

Supersweet sugary mango, actually so sweet that the mango disolves in to generic fruits. A bit of an artificial taste going on here as well, maybe they couldn’t cram any more sugar in here and decided to use artificial sweetners as well. Light finish. Grim.
