Aroma is hoppy with exotic fruits, some piney tones and caramel - feels like an American IPA. Flavour is hoppy with fruits, caramel, some pineapple, hints of pine needles and resin. Not very typical golden ale; some hops and a grainy feeling from that style is present though. Becomes somewhat sweet at the end of the glass.

(Keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20140301) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, grass, herbalness and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spices, herbalness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A tasty brew and a very different golden ale.

Tap at Brewpub Bryggeri, Helsinki. Colour is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, some sweetness, hops, some fruits and malts. Quite strong malty body and heavy hoppiness for a golden ale. Naturally very fresh.

Flaske 0,33l fra Alko Muonio. Dyp, dyp amber. Så vidt gjennomskinnelig. Bra, litt farget skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. God aroma av malt & plommer. Myk munnfølelse. God fylde. Smaken blir vel mye frukt. Alkoholen skinner gjennom. Avslutter tørt. KI=5

A dark brown head with a weak and beige head. The nose is bready and malty, sour bread and some syrup sweetness. Taste is strongly bready, herbal bitterness, some roastiness and hint of vegetables. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. The strongly bready beer without surprises.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 07/2014
Rather malty and sweet aroma with hayish house aroma of BH. Also some worty tones. Flavour has sweet malt, some toffee tones, more malt, hints of wort, chocolate and biscuits. Perhaps also a slight, harsh metallic savor and grassy hops with it. No signs of alcohol, just pure malty sweetness. Perhaps too sticky with all the malt though. A solid doppelbock.

The unfiltered version. Better and cleaner, no worty notes and not that sweet. Also more grassy hoppiness in the finish. A bit sticky this is still. 7+4+7+3+15=3.6
