Cask days 2014.
Sweet citrus zest aroma with some slightly tart notes, and some smoke. There is a subtle smoky heat, with i suppose a slight tang from the pineapple. A nice ipa, but the jalapeno is a tad over powering.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear deep gold colored body that supports a full light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up pine to faint woody like hoppiness as well as a bit of crystal malts. The taste delivers a blend of light crystal malts and fairly firm pine hop and lightly woody hop bitterness. It picks up a little citrus midway and into the finish creating a little more depth to the experience. Yet another solid offering.

Can, unfortunately canned last April, purchased at Total Wine in Cupertino. I'm starting to see a pattern in the production dates of what I bought there just 2wks ago. Golden, quite clear, good head. Nose of caramel and citrusy indeterminate ripe fruits. Flavor is pretty decent for a modern WC IPA, with caramel balancing smooth bitterness and a bit of stale pineapple. I'm sure this would have been much better when fresh, but it's aged decently.

On tap at Kings Beer & Wine, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has dank hops, some oniony notes, light grass, and a touch of pine. Flavour is much the same, with oniony hops, gentle dankness, some stone fruit pith, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Very low residual bitterness. Clean and easy but not my favourite hop expression. Decent.

Poured from the tap @ Pizza Port Ocean Beach. Black with small tan head. Booze, roast, light cinnamon and sugars, just a feint hint of coconut in the background.
