Bit of a vanilla cake and custard overdose. Not too sure what straight custard tastes like besides flan but maybe that's the finish. This has a bit of a bitter lingering finish that doesn't go away. Nose is vanilla cake for sure. Flavor doesn't stand out.

Bottle from weihenweizen: pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is booze, brandy, hazelnuts, cake, some cherry. Taste is sweet, but not overly sugary. Lots of nutty flavor is in there. Large, syrupy and boozy. Nice aftertaste. Interesting.

12 oz bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a large creamy dark tan head. Aroma of peanuts and chocolate. Full bodied. Peanut butter it is. With some vanilla and roasted coconut. Verging on pastry stout. There's burnt malt supplying some balancing bitterness. Peanuts are not over done. Good flavor.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is citrus coconut pineapple and some cream. Taste is more of the nice pineapple citrus coconut and vanilla.

16oz can from Tavour. Orange golden, small foamy head. Pineapple in the aroma. Taste is more pineapple, tart citrus and subtle tropical notes. A notch above the New Image version.

Banana marshmallow heaven. Peanut butter was probably caked to the bottom of the bottle but we forgot to check. Still hella ripe bananas on the nose and front. Thanks Ramon A.

Rye Scoring Discrepancies - Chocolate from Listermann Brewing Company

Huge PB and raspberry J sandwich nose, fuck grape jam gang, nicely rye hinted barrel finish, ew lactose but it's not too stacked, at least it feels/tastes cool. Got dat lactase on prime. 2 days ago I had an unlabeled lactose beer and it wrecked me. :(
