On tap at Listermann, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa and some caramel. Flavour is sweet, with lots of cocoa, caramel and lots of sugars. Nothing offensive but nothing special. Lots of sweet cocoa — like chocolate milk. Meh.

On tap at Listermann, pours a deep dark brown with no head. Nose brings out lots of bourbon, sweet caramel and sugars. Flavour is full of boozy bourbon, sweet caramel and dark sugars. Lacks integration and complexity but it's decent. Boozy sipper.

On tap at Listermann, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is extremely boozy, with lots of bourbon barrels, alcohol, and cocoa. Flavour is boozy, sugary and barrel-heavy, with lots of dark sugars, booze, and barrels. Not complex, with simple sugars and booze. Meh.

On tap at Listermann, pours a clear dark copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, some diacetyl, and resinous hops. Flavour is full of diacetyl, with bready malt and subdued hops. Butter bomb and nasty at that. Awful.
