My can of mango bubbles says tropical blend, just saying. Clear very pale, almost the look of water. Nose is apple but perhaps there is a tad of orange, not sure. First swig has good carbonation, then there is the apple cider and I'm left looking for the other 'tropical' impact, cant find. But wait, I think I can get some of that near the middle, if I really look for it. Yes, its just a tad, not ever in yer face. just enough to let you know its there but yet, never lets you think it s a soda pop, its a cider.

Can. After looking at the description, I thought this may taste more like an IPA; but I was wrong. First off, it pours mostly clear and golden pale with a nice even mild pine nose.Yes first the taste is plenty hop but lacks many of the ill IPA characters I don't like, its simply even and controlled. The thing I notice on the initial big swig is its higher level of co2, makes it fairly refreshing from the start. This is followed up by some medium bitter hops but, its not in yer face, its polished and unstained. In the middle, this is actually going down pretty smooth. Lot of the ill ale character that I have come to know is mostly suppressed. This stuff is really clean and respectable on my palate, its even invigorating to an extent. Finishes nicely without any mouth coating negative hop attributes. Glad I picked this up, I could use a few more of these. It is civilized and easy to get along with, like many well made pale lagers. There, you have it. This stuff is not as good as Indigo Imp Jester, Fin City White Marlin Pale Ale, Crooked Tongue Easy on the Tongue or even Brew Keepers Deathwind Pale Ale but i must say, its pretty darn good for an APA. JMHO!

12oz can from Tavour. Darker golden pour, light cloudiness, foamy head settles. Malty aroma, caramel with floral notes. Taste is mildly sweet, toffee, earthy, floral, soapy. Mouth coating too. Not the best outing for Nelson hops I've had, but respectable.

12 fl oz can from Total Wine, Louisville, KY. Costs 2.29 $ plus tax. Drunk at home. Cloudy pale yellow golden in the glass, small one finger white head. Grassy citrus aroma, not a lot. Taste starts with lemon, some caramel. Sweet grassy in the second part, some pale grain. Thin stuff, maybe for a hot summer night, but not at 13 °C in July in northern Germany.

12 fl oz can from Total Wine, Louisville, KY. Paid 2,49 $ + tax. Drunk back at home. Golden in the glass, slightly cloudy, one finger white head. Intensive sweet tropical aroma. Taste starts fuity, little bit dry with a lot of resin and stone fruity. Malty backbone. Smooth. Soft bitterness. Below average carbonated. Nice one.
