Many thanks for this can to Grzesiek79. The raspberry flavor was somewhat syrupy...not very natural. The whole thing seemed a bit cloying, but not offensively so.

A 0.5 can from Strefa Piwa, Krakow. Pours black with reddish tint. Quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma of soy sauce and chocolate. Dry, alcoholic, sweet. Dry aftertaste. Medium light body. Interesting, but showing to much alcohol. Slightly unbalanced.

Can. Pours clear pale golden with quickly vanishing white head. Clear, grainy aroma of wholemeal bread. Watery, citric flavour with notes of perfume, stale malt and yeast. Mild, sour aftertaste. Unbalanced. Bad.

Can, 4.2%. Marzipan aroma?! Clear golden olour. OK stable white head. The flavour has a strange fruity marzipan note. Rough bitterness. Strange and bad.

Aroma: intensive raisin, a bit of coffee, some roasty notes. Dark colour, brown head which fully diminishes. Not much bitterness, not very sweet. Warming but smooth alcohol in finish. Soft carbonation. Beer is not cloying, which is a plus, but I don’t like its character - too much raising, too few bitterness, not much more. I don’t like Baltic porters, so this one did not impress me. 50 cl can with expiry date 20.11.2014.

Porter łódzki to nawet dobry porter. Sądziłem że to będzie gorsze piwo za sprawą puszkowej wersji. Nie lubię piwa w puszkach. Ale w tym przypadku to nie przeszkadzało. Wytrawny i gożki w końcówce. Smak jednak trochę słodkawy. Dobra beżowa piana sporo czasu się trzymała.

Appearance: Black (subtle red) color with a beige head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate and fruity.
Palate: Medium to full body. A bit sweet and light bitterness. Creamy carbonation.
Taste: Unusual fruity flavor. Toghether with coffee and chocolate.
Overall impression: One of the best Baltic porters I have had.
Personal stats: Can from a trade with EIDesmadre.
