Aromas are roast, dark malt, black patent and molasses. Flavors are similar to nose, more sweet than better, add in some cinnamon. Not much sign of alcohol. Nice toasty slightly sweet finish. A small pour is enough.

Tao at Drunk Uncle. Stale caramel tone. Zesty mild hop balance. A more UK feel than US. Lowish ABV keeps it drinkable. Different than typical stuff, but not that impressive overall.

Tap at Drunk Uncle. Sour, dry, to style. Tropical fruit tones, but not syrupy. Refreshing, easy drinking. Tangy passionfruit. Salty finish. Good. Paletas.

28/II/20 - 33cl bottle @ bottle share after the Blind Geuze Tasting, Struise Shop (Brugge), BB: 5/XII/23 (2020-192) Thanks to Erwin and all for sharing today’s beers!

Clear dark brown beer, small irregular beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of tonka, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, some cinnamon. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: all tonka beans, dark roast, vanilla, cinnamon notes, sugary touch, caramel, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: more roasted, tonka, vanilla bean, bitter, roasted, dark chocolate, malts, hoppy bitter finish.

Clear pale yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: dusty, malty, grains, hay, bit rubbery, shoe soles, weird. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: metallic, pretty lemony, sourish, funky, meh. Aftertaste: fruity, citrus, oranges, bitter touch, some orange peel. Not too bad, except for the foul smell.
