Description
Head brewer, Ian, has been churning out the good stuff for many a year. Born in 2012, Settle Brewery has been using traditional brewing methods coupled with working with local & seasonal ingredients to produce an arsenal of siba award-winning beers.

Cask @ Record Café, Bradford. Clear golden with a creamy head. Has an easy-drinking session texture with a mix of malts and bittering hops.

Cask @ Old Bank, Bradford. Blonde with a thick creamy head. Clear with a slightly dry, but crisp hoppy character. Malts are evident, most notably in its nose. There’s a bitterness to the ale too.

Cask at the Red Lion, Amblecote. Pours orange gold with a small head. Aroma is straw and marmalade hops. Taste is sweet with straw. Touch of orange.

Cask @ Leeds Wetherspoon Station, Leeds. Dark ruby-red with a small creamy head. Has a gentle red berry winter fruit sweetness throughout its character. There’s some pale malts here too.

Cask @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon. Extremely dark red with a creamy off-white head. Smooth tasting with light milky roasted malt flavours. More regular in its nose.

Clear caramel colour, white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, light hops. Sweet malty flavour, caramel. Dito finish.

Gravity cask at St Albans beer festival. Dark maroon color, bright tan head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of dark fruit. Taste has stewed prunes. Nice.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Settle Signal Main Line ].Clear medium yellow amber color with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is light moderate malty, nutty, light caramel, vomit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, earthy, floral - biscuit ? light nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20140812]

500ml bottle from Tebay services on the m6. Deep black body with a thin tan head. Aroma is spicy chocolate and coffee taste a touch of liquorice with a burnt bitter finish.
