Description
Head brewer, Ian, has been churning out the good stuff for many a year. Born in 2012, Settle Brewery has been using traditional brewing methods coupled with working with local & seasonal ingredients to produce an arsenal of siba award-winning beers.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours amber with a thin white head. Aromas of stewed apples, nuts, light lemon. Taste is more of the same. Finishes light bitter. Standard.

Cask: hand-pulled pint drank on the sun terrace, 14th June 2014: Pheasant, Wellington, Shropshire. Clear light golden with a thin white head. Hop lead in both the aroma and taste, mild malt presence also evident in the background. Nice summers day, refreshing brew. Good for the ABV.

Cask @ Old Post Office, Halifax. Golden with not much head. Has a light fruity character, medium bodied at best. Session stuff with a sweetness.

Cask @ Shoulder of Mutton, Mytholmroyd. Hazy gold with a smooth head. Has orange peel in the nose and for its flavour. A touch tangy with a medium bitterness.

Leeds Beer Festival. Copper-amber with a mild fruity character. There’s some malt and grain in this too.

Cask gravity at Berry Walmer. Clear gold lasting white head. Ok golden ale a little earthy on the drying finish. Yep some hop and decent enough.

Cask at The Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a hazy, light amber colour with a halo of white head. Aroma of some floral hops, digestive biscuits and cooked fruit. Stale malt dominated the initial flavour with some corn syrup and orange squash in the mix. Finish was wet grass, breakfast cereal and brown sugar.
