Description
Head brewer, Ian, has been churning out the good stuff for many a year. Born in 2012, Settle Brewery has been using traditional brewing methods coupled with working with local & seasonal ingredients to produce an arsenal of siba award-winning beers.

Cask at The Kentish Belle, Bexleyheath. Amber pour with a white head. Nose is candied peel, apricot. Taste is bitter orange, apricot, bitter malts. Quite a malty bitter affair.

5/8/2023. Cask at The Cherry Tree Beer Festival 2023. Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, gooseberry, straw, light tropical notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, lightly fizzy carbonation. Nice bitter finish. Good.

Cask @ Postal Order, Blackburn. Golden with a thick creamy head. Session hoppy, nice and light, nice and easy.

Pours a clear golden colour with a small frothy white head. The aroma is lemony with some herbal notes. A moderately sweet and bitter taste, lemon and herbal flavours with a good bitter finish.

Cask at Malt Shovel Tavern, Northampton. Pours ruby deep brown with a beige head. Aroma: malty, fruity, light coffee. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, towards dry, malty, roasty, creamy, milk chocolate, not too much lactose. Medium body with fine carbonation.

19/4/2023. Cask at The Grayston Unity, Halifax. Pours very dark brown with a creamy light beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nut, coffee, liquorice. Moderate sweetness and medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Good.

Cask @ The Abbey, Shrewsbury. Very dark brown pour with a small cream head. Pronounced coffee and roast on initial sip. Mild caramel and liquorice up the rear. Not a huge lactose presence. Not too shabby.
