Sampled on draft at GTMW 2011. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a thin head. Aroma of tart citrus, strawberry and a hint of must. The taste is tart berries, citrus. Very tart. Medium bodied. Quite refreshing. Nice beer.

Draft at Normal IL location. Poured a slightly hazy golden wheat color, medium sized white head. Aroma was wheat, banana and cloves. Flavor was wheat spice, banana, cloves. Was okay, but not my favorite one of this particular brewer.

Draft at the Normal IL location. Poured a very dark brown color with a small brown head. Aroma was roasted, sweet dark malts, touch of coffee. Bitter, roasted, cocoa notes. This one was really solid, creamy, enjoyable.

Draft at the Normal IL location. Poured a copper color with a compact, foamy/creamy off-white head. Aroma was citrus grapefruit, floral notes, caramel malt notes. Flavor was grapefruit, caramel notes, floral. Biscuit, bready, caramel! Nice, enjoyable.

Draft at the Normal, IL location. Poured a clear, slight straw color, small wispy white head. Aroma is mostly sour notes, touch of fruit notes were present, mild fruit. Flavor was light sweet berry notes, with funky fruit notes. A really tart and interesting brew.

Draft at the Normal, IL location. Poured a slightly light copper color, small creamy, fluffy white head. Aroma was sweet malts, candi and brown sugars, caramel notes, spices, a touch dry notes from honey. Alcohol is really masked in this 10% brew. Didn’t really pick up on the raisins, but that’s probably for the best on my part.

4 oz draft at Normal, IL location. Poured a light brown color, a bit dark copper in there. Aroma was citrus notes, sweet, slighty nutty malts. Flavor was sweet malts, spices (touch ginger, banana, cloves), slight, but mellow hop character. A few characteristics that reminded me of bubble gum. Overall a highly drinkable brew, especially since the alcohol is almost entirely masked at +8%.

Draft @ FoBAB 2009, Chicago, IL. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity sour funky woody aroma. Fruity sour funky brett flavor with hints of oak and weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity sour funky brett finish.

Draft @ FoBAB 2009, Chicago, IL. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty hoppy caramel aroma with weak oaky hints. Has a sweetish malty darak fruit and caramel flavor with hoppy hints and hints of bourbon and vanilla. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter caramel finish with hints of vanilla and bourbon.
