0,44 l can from a Getränke Hoffmann in town. Since 2024 brewed at Brewdog, Berlin. Golden in the glass, slightly cloudy, one finger white head. Grassy grainy aroma, some caramel. Taste has some bitterhop on front, grainy cereales. Caramel. Less bitterhop in the second part. Little bit above average carbonated. Okay.

500ml bottle, thanks to Kolschtrinker, drunk watching Turnstile live at Full Force Festival on ArteConcert. Pours a generally clear golden yellow, frothy white head. Aroma of pale pils malt. Taste is a little harsh, a touch metallic, generally cheap-tasting, some distant grain, lacks the crisp harmony of a good modern pils.

27-03-19 // bottle from my local Edeka in Berlin. Klasse Supermarktpils. Unabhängig und geschmacklich charaktervoll. Der MandarinaBavaria Hopfen leistet gute Arbeit. Klassisch Pils mit Twist.

Nach Berliner Kindl und Berliner Pils kommt jetzt noch das Berliner Bären-Bräu. Dieses ist aber ein gut vollmundiges Pils norddeutscher Brauart. Es ist gut süffig und lässt sich angenehm trinken.

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow. Small white head. Aroma is grassy and eggy. Bitter, grassy. Light eggy from back of the nose. Medium dry hoppy finish.

0.5l bottle from charlottenburg, bb 24.10.15, so 1 year past its prime. pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of grass, malts, a hint of floral hops. a rather malty pils, but nothing wrong here.
