PET 1L. Almost clear ruby red, creamy sticky beige head. Aroma of sweet and sour cherry syrup, medicine and some faint mint. The taste is very sweet, cherry syrup, faint hoppy notes and a minuscule bitterness in the finish. Way too sweet!

PET 3L! Clear golden, white sticky head. Aroma of diacetyl, pork fat, grainy, with faint hippy notes (grassy, minty, lemon zest?). The flavour is similar, with light sweetness and some medicinal notes. Light bitter and spicy finish. Despite all the flaws, it does not feel unpleasant. The mouthfeel is soft and it is devoid of the usual macro flaws. Not bad.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Sweet lemonade with a nasty medicinal off-flavour. It might (or might be not) be showing some of that crappy yeasty diacetyl-laden lager character. But it might be just my imagination. This should be made illegal to retail...

Bottle 500ml. [ As Bocikovoe Vie ].[ Courtesy of dnicolaescu (Dorin) ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, pale malt, toasted - caramel, grass, vegetables, light cereal. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp bitter, hop extract, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130816]

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oak, malt, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, oak, caramel, light roasted, toasted, dry. Quit balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130816]

Bottle from Dorin with thanks! Country #115. Pours a pale golden colour with a good sized white head. Aroma of grain, yeast and caramel. Light sweetness. Body is fairly thin but with a very nice, smooth, if slightly oily texture. Carbonation fairly soft. Light bitterness to finish. Enjoyed this very much.

1 litre bottle from the very generous dnicolaescu. Pours dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is caramel, woodiness and some strange but very familiar smell that I can’t place. Taste is caramel, oakiness, and a lot of bitterness. This has got to be one of the strangest dunkels that I’ve tried. That said, it’s rather good.

500ml bottle from a trade with dnicolaescu. Pours pale yellow with a frothy white head that is gone is no time. Unpleasant grainy, buttery aroma. Taste is mainly malt. Good finish with hoppy bitterness. Not bad.

Aroma: Malt, strange sweetness. Some fruitiness.
Taste: Malt, then the same strange sweetness and fruitiness. Not good.
