Pours hazy dark golden with white head. Aroma is apple, honey, sugarcane. It reminds of lambic beers. Taste starts dry, despite the sweet smell; then develops a powerful and slightly sweetish finish. Very idiosincratic.

The bottle I tried was 4% abv. Pours cloudy dark amber-golden, almost brown, with a thick foamy tan head. Aroma is bitter citrus, cider, cinnamon, pepper... Quite reminiscent of Orval (wild yeast involved? Brett?) Very dry, quite sour, no bitterness. Long finish. Very interesting.

33cl, best before 09.05.15. Smooth and fresh brew. Nice dry stout-typical. Nice roasted without too much bitterness. Easy to drink, smooth, nice fresh roasted parts. Stout-typical smooth with a sourish hint, round and great. Soft, smooth, as it should be.

33cl, bottled 27.01.15, best before 08.06.15. Dark brown in the glass. The beer starts very neutral. Malty fresh, slightly dry but absolutely no hops there. And I think it is quite fresh. Nice malty aftertaste, smooth in aroma, fresh but nothing more. Easy to drink, smooth, hints of malt, round.

04/12 0.33 l bottle from Vinoteca Belostikale, Bilbao. It poured hazy, darker copper body with quite big white head. Caramel aroma touched with light but fine coffee aroma and a bit of citrus hops. Lightly sweet, fine flavor, caramel, biscuit, toffee, generally toasted and slightly herbal from hops. Medium bodied with quite long, caramel and a bit plastic finish. Not a real IPA, maybe APA, but a pleasant beer than wouldn’t suffer from heavier body!

30/11 0.75 l bottle from Vinoteca Belostikale, Bilbao. It poured most likely clear and very dark reddish brown body with tiny brown head. Some bourbon or rum aroma, weak caramel and sugar. Quite pungent. Flavor was slightly sour and sweet with raisins, dark dried fruits, sugar, caramel and alcohol. Fuller in body with long alcoholic finish. Harsh, not easy going, good for an aperitif, not bad but probably not worth the pretty high price.

30/11 0.33 l bottle from Vinoteca Belostikale, Bilbao. It poured hazy yellow body with huge head. Probably the only gusher I’ve had in Spain. Fine citrus, biscuit, and chalk aroma. Flavor was mildly bitter, herbal and citrus hopped, biscuit malty and a bit dusty. Medium to thin bodied with long and pleasant citrus finish. A fine little craft beer.
