0,33 l bottle. BB 01.04.2025. A darker red golden in the glass, cloudy, huge soft gushing white head. Pine and resin on the nose, honey with malt in the background. Taste has less pine and resin, more on the malty side with bitterhop, caramel, some butter elements. Dry at the palate. Something wrong with the bottle?

A dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of cardamon, grapes, red fruits, dark malt. Taste of red wine, anis, cardamon, dark malt, long spicy finish.

Bottle drunk at home after a couple of Franconian Kellerbier. Very dark brown, substantial light brown head, nose of roasted cocoa and coffee but tinged with fruit-candy-like undertones. The flavor had a weird bit of fruit to it (i guess it's the grapes), moderate bitterness but roasty aftertaste, interesting. Christmassy spices and citrus notes. It's a curious mixture that almost works, but isn't quite there.

Fast schwarze Farbe, feinporige stabile Schaumkrone; in der Nase sehr interessant, Minze, Zartbitterschokolade (After Eight), würzig, Nelken, Orangenschale, Sauerkirschen; im Geschmack mit deutlich süßlichem Beginn, würzig mit viel Nelken, Zimt und etwas Kardamom, Minzschokolade, gewürzter Apfelsaft, Rotwein, etwas Säure, deutliche Röstbittere, moderate Malzigkeit. Insgesamt nicht wirklich mein Geschmack, aber definitiv gut gemacht.
