Can, tasting at Ryan's
Dark mahogany colour, no head. It's milk chocolate sauce, sweet, caramel, with no real depth; warming alcohol. Very shallow beer, it tastes more like a cheap chocolate drink.

Poured from 473mL can (the can does not list hazelnuts; the 2020 version did; I am a lawyer and have a nut allergy; let's see what happens after one sip). Fairly dark brown with almost no head. Dark fruit, caramel malt, some maple, weird imperial stout.

16oz (thx, Brian C.!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: brown with no head. Aroma: sweet, dark fruits, caramel, maple. Taste: along the same lines, cannot really find coffee or maple here. Overall: I cannot call this stout, kinda a sweet and thick Belgian Brown Ale or something.

Amber-brown. No head. Fair amount of bourbon on the aroma, vanilla, soft body, light toffee, a touch of maple. Solid but it doesn't seem like a stout.
