Ruby-brown colour. Aroma of plums, banana and rice. It has a funny, toasty, chocolatey, prune/date character. Finishes like a mixture of bananas and chocolate in a milkshake. A little odd, but I like it.

Wet sponge and bitterhop in the nose. Pale, head could be better, low carbonation. Slightly nutty, bitter tinge. The yeast rounds the brew off and gives a hint of body - otherwise thinnish.

Pale yellow, greenish shine. Very thick white head. Nose with banana, cloves, citrus, somehow a little coriander too. Very slight bitterness, even tartness in the taste, on top of a fruity (banana), wheaty & sweet-malt base. Rather light bodied, creamy mouthfeel. An avarage Weizen. Nothing bad, nowhere great.

Golden, clear. Slight white head, lacey. Nose: chalk, a bit herbal. Not much else. Very slight bitterness at first. No refinement, maybe little sweetish maltiness underneath. Light bodied. Unrefined bitterness keps hanging around, developping a metallic tang. If this has to save Martini, then I fear for the worst. Premium, they say?!

Bierclub.de tells us that Martini Brauerei at Kassel has been taken over by Einbecker Brauhaus AG, and that they have changed the range somewhat. "Martini Naturtrüb" is "unfiltrierte Pils-Spezialität", which means unfiltered Pilsner. Pale-yellow coulour, Chablis-like shine; fluffy white head, collapsing. Chalk, grain, freshly-mowed grass. Immediately fine-bitter taste, going over in a quite bitter taste, obviously german hops, and plenty of them, at that. Spicy, peppery finsih, a tad harsh and a bit of grain in the palate. Quite good - for a Pilsener. Refreshing, but the yeast lends some body, which doesn't spoil anything. Above-average Pilsener, better than what I remember from A. Kropf Martini Privatbrauerei when in the army, German-time...

The aroma is rather sweet, flowery, fruity, and yeasty. The color is a slightly unclear brown and it has a beutiful light brown head - that collapses. The flavor is sweet - yeasty wheat flavor with notes of caramel, nuts and alcohol prickling the tongue. A really lovely wheatbeer.

The aroma is a very clean sweet wheat aroma. The color is an unclear pale yellow and it has a fine but fast disappearing head. The flavor is very light lemon like with a light wheat touch. A nice wheat beer - not too sour.
