Description
Great beer, great service, great space. Boiler Brewing Company and tap room is located in downtown Lincoln in the historic Grand Manse building. The stately stature of the Grand Manse is accurately reflected in the bold beers that brewmaster Tim Thomssen prefers to make. Aside from the ever rotating list of beers, mead and cider, food is also available. A unique experience in every glass.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Hazy, light yellow orange appearance with a white head. Aroma has light citrus, orange, and some flowers. Moderate bitterness and sweetness. Soft body. Kinda dull flavor but pretty easy drinking.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Clear, dark golden appearance with a white head. A little more spicy and less fruity than the IPA. Hint of butter. Dank hops. Moderate high bitterness. Some pine. Mediocre.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Hazy golden appearance with an off white head. Slightly dank, grapefruit, passion fruit, piney aroma. Smells nice. Medium full body. Moderate to moderate light sweetness and bitterness. Good hop flavor without a ton of bitterness. Kinda strong. Lots of fruit. Good.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Quite hazy orange appearance with a white head. Peppery, floral, slightly fruity aroma with an almost celery like scent. Medium light body. Zesty, peppery, floral flavor. OK.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Hazy golden yellow appearance with a foamy white head. Aroma has a ton of banana, light clove, black pepper, and light citrus. Medium body. Floral and peppery in the mouth. Plenty of spice. Alcohol is hidden well. Not great but better than most American made Tripels.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Clear, dark reddish orange appearance with a white head. Floral, herbal aroma with some raspberry notes. Goopy, lightly tart, and quite sweet. Flavor is just raspberry juice. Bleh.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Hazy burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma is pretty dull with a little bit of fruit and sweet malt. A little goopy texture. High sweetness. Tropical fruit, caramel, and cane sugar in the mouth. Eh, I probably wouldn’t buy this again.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Clear, burnt orange appearance with a small, white head. Aroma has notes of lightly toasted grain, strawberries, and a hint of caramel. Flavor is intense strawberries. Moderate high sweetness. It’s completely one dimensional but still kind of a guilty pleasure.

On tap at the brewery in Lincoln. Hazy reddish purple appearance with a tan head. Aroma smells like blueberries, lightly toasted malt, and a hint of wood. Somewhat tart. Very fruit juicy. Twangy, grassy, woody flavors with tons of berry juice. OK.
