Bottle. Clear gold with a massive white head. Aroma of grains, straw flowers and butter. Taste of grains, grass, straw, malts and a tiny touch of spice. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok. One for the statistics.

Can. Advent calendar. Pale, hazy yellow. Bready, slightly doughy nose with very light hops. Light, thin, bread. On the disappointing side of this set.

One cool thing about this set for me is I’m pretty sure everyday is a new (to me) brewery. Day 14: Kauzen Käuzle Helles Lager 5% Pale straw gold with a dense rocky topping of foam. The aroma is very sweet grain malts, almost macro lager like. Medium to light bodied with a raspy carbonation and very dry finish. Sweet but decently balanced though I find the carbonation too gassy. This is ok but it feels like a six-pack daily drinker you don’t think about. Quite forgettable.

Can. Gold with a white head. Grainy aroma with some slightly earthy spices. More bready taste but the malt side of things is a bit vague. Some spices, low bitterness.

500ml can from advent calendar. Pale golden pour with a small frothy white head. Aroma is grainy and grassy, biscuity. taste features mildly sweet malts leading up to a crisp finish. A bit of wet cardboard vibe on this as you get deeper.

500 ml can Costco Advent Calendar 2022 Day #10. Purchased at the Costco in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a thick lasting two inch egg white head. The aroma is straw, cereal grain malt, and a bit of honey. The taste is a nice balance between the straw and honey malt character, a touch of herbal present as well. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft natural carbonation and a bit of a watery finish.
