Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has straw and earthy grass with a touch of hay underlying. Flavor is hay forward with a growing straw and a hint of grass backing.

Fläschla (brewed by Kauzen Ochsenfurt): Deep amber coloured with a ruby sheen, small but stable off-white foamy layer, moderate dryish roasty and dark-malty nose, fruity traces detectable, mild bitter-malty background; mild to moderate bitter flavour with a mild sweetness, light bodied and soft; slightly lingering bitter-sweet toasty-fruity finish. Not bad, but is it a Stout or a Schwarzbier…

Can from Costco Advent Calendar, drunk in a Premier Inn in Scotland - Pretty run of the mill pils, bit of syrupy bready taste, a bit floral in the nose. Good enough.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear yellow-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with notes of pale, dry biscuits, straw, mild bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly dry to finish, mellow bitter hay and straw, further dried biscuits, white bread crust. Nice and drinkable, clean pils.

Can at home picked up from Costco advent calendar. A clear pale golden coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is herbal, sweaty sileage hop, earthy grains, damp hay. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready grains, dirty sweaty hops, grass, firm grassy bitterness, palate is light crisp, hop, highish, fizzy carbonation

Pours clear gold. It smells and tastes grainy, a little bready, and malty. There are subdued but noticeable hops. Pretty decent.

Can, from an advent calendar. Pours clear golden with large foamy white head, bread aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste, faint doughy flavor, thin body, abrupt finish with malt aftertaste. Nice pilsner though not super crisp.

500ml can from the Advent Calendar. Lemony hop nose, biscuty malt, light esters and some oxidation. Slightly hazy golden orange with a tall, rocky head. Estery and phenolic. Doughy and rather sweet. More like a Belgian singel than a proper pils. Finish is bitter and spicy, and that is nice. A bit of cardboard in there too. If anything, it's more like a Zwickl than a pils. Too estery and yeasty. I like it well enough, except for the oxidation, which doesn't ruin it but takes it down a notch.

500ml from day 14 of th Costco Advent Calendar. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is clean and airy, soft sweetness, touch of biscuit and doughy malts, but also some spice and grass. The taste initially felt quite sharp, but then you get into to it, firmly dry, bitter, crisp, peppery spice, straw, grass, some sponge cake and doughy white bread and biscuit with linger bitter - spicy finish. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Bitter, crispy and quenching. Really got into it after a while.
