The 12th Night, a fitting day to finish my Kalea Advent Calendar on! Somewhat sweet sugary honey aroma, with underlying boozy stewed fruits. Opaque dark brown. Thick light beige head. Starts off quite sweet before taking on a bitter tinged sweet and sour. The latter gains strength. The sweetness then really returns at the finish. Sugary stewed fruits. Nuts. Marzipan. Light-medium bodied. On the thin side but does have a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Soft carb. Long low key finish. It's OK. The sweetness hides the booze but verging on overly sweet.

Pours brown from the bottle. Frothy tan head that turns creamy and lingers. Aroma is banana, toffee, brown sugar. Taste is mildly bittersweet, dry, with noticeable clove. Body is light to medium, carbonation is moderate. A decent brew that feels more like a Dunkelweizen than a Bock.
