Süßlicher, leicht herber Antrunk. Hellmalzig ohne erkennbaren Hopfen, spritzig, Leider etwas metallern im Hintergrund, Nuancen von Gras. Die Herbe kommt zum Ende angenehm hervor, das Bier wird durch die steigenden Aromen deutlich aufgewertet. 8/8/8/10/7/8

(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a medium-sized frothy white head. Strawy malty and slightly doughy aroma with hints of grassy hops. Mildly bitter and delicately tart flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry, doughy and strawy malty base with a slightly papery edge and grassy hops in the background, getting stronger towards the dry and mildly hop bitter finish with papery/perfumed malty notes. Bottle: Clear, golden, visible carbonation, medium-sized and stable and lacy white head; mild grainy nose with worty traces, molecular amounts of strawy hops barely detectable; very mild sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, very smooth; short mild - what else? - grainy-strawy finish with a delicate acidity, surely not caused by infection. What a pity, that Werneck is located in Franconia...

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light sourish hints. Also light spicy. Finish mild, well balanced. Nice one!

02.03.2017 -- 0.5l bottle in bavarian beer set from marktkauf/edeka. pours an almost clear pale golden with a frothy white head. aroma of hay. flavour of bread, wine, butter, grass. fizzy carbonation. ok. 10.06.2018 -- a bottle from marktkauf again. clear pale golden. aroma of cracker, biscuit malts, slightly skunky sulphuric hops, herbs. flavour of grass, bread, and butter.

500 ml from tap served in mug. Nice cereal aroma. Slightly hoppy and malty. Nice bitter finish. Fine carbonated. Very easy to drink. Good Helles.
