Stark karbonisierter, hell süßer Beginn. Leicht herb, hintergründig Zitrusnoten. Helle Würzigkeit, konstante Süße, zum Ende milder aber spürbarer Hopfen. 9/8/9/9/8/9

Poured crisp and clear, until I swirled the sediment from the bottom. Once that hit, the bier tuned a murky gold. Short head faded quickly. A mellow fruity taste, not as sharp as the norm for a german Hefe. Slightly oily feel on the tongue, with a nice banana aftertaste. It’s a hefe through and through...right in the middle of the pack.

Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, off-white film head. Good duration. Aroma is mild, pilsner malts, hay, some citric notes. High carbonation, dry and a bit watery. Flavour is mild, sweet, doughy, light citric, a bit of peach. Fair dryish finish. Average, but still good.

Picked up in a Franconian six pack mix at Edeka markt. Everything you’d expect from a hefeweizen; ample carbonation, cloudy golden color, (provided you swirl the last bits from the bottle), smooth creamy head. Oily and smooth mouthfeel, with the normal expected flavours froma a weizen. Contract brewed by Kauzen from a Wolf-Bier recipe. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Bottle: Golden, unclear, stable white foamy layer, light to moderate grainy-strawy nose with a chalky background, pale malt detectable, too; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, chewy; short strawy-bitter finish. One of the better Helles…

50 cl bottle. Rated on 30.03.2010 Opaque and brown, small-bubbled head. Aroma is thin and stale with ripe banana and wheat typical to a weissbier. Foamy palate. Flavour is slightly sour, acidic and a bit thin with ripe banana and wheat. Decent.

Bottle looks good, beer in the glass okay. Starts mild, more and more malty-moldy, a bit sourish-dry. Modest hoppy. Also a bit soapy. Not too drinkable. Not my favourite.

Bottle looks simple, very much like a cheap beer. The beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest hoppy-dry, fresh-grasy. Malty notes in the background. Finish still mild, but not washy. Well balanced. Tastes much better than it looks.

Cloudy dark brown color. Sweet malt flavor with some raisin and toasty notes mixed in. Nutty malt aroma. Overall, its a decent brew thats not too exciting.
