Bottle at Weinhaus Fuchs, Eibelstadt, Bayern, Wednesday 27th November 2024, driving back to the UK. Pours hazy yellow with a large white head. Big yeasty nose, lots of banana , wheaty and yes this is a good interpretation of the style, nice.

500 ml tap. Cloudy orange with a fluffy head. Clove, banana, sourdough, vanilla, diacetyl. Mild dry sourness, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, low carbonated, dry fruity finish. Quite rural Weißbier, but not remarkable.

Trübe goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, fruchtig nach Banane und etwas Limette. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Light sourish yeasty nose. Hazy pale golden colour, a lot of small bubbles, good frothy white head, diminishing slowly, fair lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, banana, lemon, cloves. Taste medium sweet, light sour, slightly bitter, wheat malt, yeast, light banana, lemon. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, mild fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, sourish notes, light spicy notes, refreshing, very nice weizen.

Bottle. Pale amber color. Herbal aroma, hintsof clove and banana. Wheaty sweetish flavor, herbal with hints of clove and banana sweets. Thinnish, but drinkable.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy yellowgold with a thin white head. Aromas of banana soap, faint spice. Taste is sweet, foam banana. Some clove on the (slightly cloying) finish.

Draught at BBF2013. Hazy orange with a medium head, excellent lacing. Aroma is fruit and bubblegum. Flavour is fruity wheat, yeast and dry caramel. Finish us yeasty dry.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, earth and some yeast. Flavour is citrus, wheat, yeast, some mild toffee, herbs and also quite strong earthy notes.

50cl bottle, bb 08.11.13. Hazy golden, thick white head. Banana, wheat aroma, flavor very similar, quite sweet, but not disturbing. Long fruity finish. Not bad.
