Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, thinner, lacy firm foamy layer, clean sweet pale-malt in the nose with a light honeyish and a distinctive herbal hoppy touch; medium bodied, solid sweet-bitter flavour; the hoppiness becomes even drier and more spiced towards the otherwise light sweet-malty finish. Good, but not too well rounded............

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Hazy reddish brown with a tall, dense and handsome head that leaves some lacework. Fat aroma of caramel - burned caramel - with dried fruit and yeast. Quite full-bodied, very fruity with burned caramel, overripe fruit and some oxidized notes - in the most pleasant way. No real bitterness. Excellent. 180808

Medium-sweet and slightly acidic flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather flat carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Fruity (mainly banana) taste with a moderate wheat-profile; sweet and minimal sourish banana-fruity and wheaty finish (24.07.08).

The bottle looks good. The beer in the glass is not very zippy, not much foam. Aroma wheaty, a little bit like bread. Tastes spicy, not very hoppy, also notes of wheat. A little sourish moment in the finish. Drinkable pilsner!
