bottle. clear to hazy brow, smooth small brown head. mild aroma, mild nutty, mild malty. flavor is nutty, malty, alcohol, caramel. aftertaste has faint notes of charred wood. dark malty caramelly brew. not so sweet. not so belgian yeasty, acts more like a roasted bock than a belgian strong ale.

bottle from Nik the Greek. Straw coloured yellow, tall and creamy white head. Green hop aroma. Light-bodied, malty base, some grassy hops with a shy resiny touch. Not bad at all.

Draft @ some bar in that town-which-shall-not-be-named. Clear gold with a nice enough white head. Aroma and taste: Grains, hay, malts, diacetyl and corn (yea, I know corn isn't on the list of ingredients). Medium bitterness, medium carbonation, medium satisfaction.
