Description
“EZA” Hellenic Brewery of Atalanti S.A., holds a 30 years’ brewing experience. The company produces, imports and distributes exclusively national and international beer brands in Greece and abroad. EZA’s plant is harmonically installed in the Greek landscape utilizing for brewing highest quality water from spring fields, sourced from Parnassos Mountain. The Atalanti brewery started its operation in 1989. Continuous maintenance and modernization investment assure the production of beer of the higher quality standards.

Bottled@PBF VIII. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is herbs, grass some slight bready notes. Flavour is herbs, grass and some slight earthy notes. Good outside in the sun. And after woodchopping, but Merv didn’t approve it.

Canned at PBF. Clear pale golden, small head. Neutral fruity nose. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel. Notes of cider and cardboard. No bitterness. Miserable.

Bottle @ Hotel, Rethymnon. Pours light yellow with a fading white head. Aroma of malt, light bread, sweetness, litle hops. Flavor of malt, cardboard, bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter finish. Among the other things i dont like in this beer is the strange bitterness, its not hoppy, just bitterness. 110813

50cl Can from Proton, Syros. ABV 4.5%. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of cereal, light grassy, a bit sweet, light malty. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, cereal, some sweet honeyish note, grassy bitter finish. Light-bodied. Decent for what it is.

50cl Bottle on Santorini, as ζ Hellenic Pilsener Beer. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is quite sweet, honey, sweetener, white bread. Flavour is medium-sweet, honey, light malty, hint of bread, light floral hoppy bitter finish with a hint of toast and caramel. Light-bodied. Decent sweet lager.
