About
It all started with eight visionary men who founded the “Vereinsbrauerei Berliner Gastwirte zu Berlin AG” on February 1st, 1872 in Rixdorf. They established a modern brewery within one year, which was opened on July 19, 1873. The first public serving takes place on this day. In 1890 the brewery decides, as one of the first breweries in Germany, to brew a Pilsen beer. It is called - based on its southern German relatives - "Berliner Kindl". In 1910 the brewery is renamed "Berliner Kindl Brauerei AG". In 2006 Berliner Kindl returns to its former location in the east of Berlin. The entire range is now brewed in the Berliner Kindl Schultheiss brewery in Lichtenberg.

Very light colour, medium head. This is a "Jubilee, premium and Pilsen's" but it's badly bitter. Slightly water-like, little aftertastes. Smells good with hops, and in her taste, it seems to be just a restrained, "directly retarded", stopped beer. The scents are much more animated than the flavors. I am dissapointed. ---

Nagyon világos, közepesnél kisebb habbal. Jubileumi, prémium és pilseni "léttére" nagyon gyengén keserű. Kissé vízízű, kevés utóíz. Az illatán szépen érződik a komló, és az ízében is, csak olyan visszafogott, "direkt visszavett", leállított sörnek tűnik. Az illatok sokkal markánsabbak, mint az ízek. Csalódtam. Valószínűleg, ha csapova létezik Berlinben, ott finomabb..

O cloudy yellow with a fine white head. Both aroma and flavor are fresh lemon. It has not much to do whit beer. But it is really fresh and good tasting. Nice summer drink on the beach.

Decent enough pilsner. Plain and nothing wrong with it. Typical pilsner aroma and flavor. Ok body and a fine carbonation level. Fine balanced bitterness and sweetness. Thirst quencher.

A decent and ok dunkel bock. Typical to style.
Dark color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Fine mellow aroma. Average carbonation level. Pleasant to drink. Balanced sweetness. Dark malt, dried fruits and toffee in the flavor. Well masked alcohol.

A quite decent plain bock in my opinion. Nothing really fancy, but not bad either. You know what you get.
Fine clear golden body with an ok white head. Decent intensity in the aroma. Fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Aslo a balanced sweetness (ok it is sweet – but not cloying). Fruity and quite malty flavor. No sticky alcohol coming up.

Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. Slodkie jak kompot z rabarbaru zasypany kilogramem cukru. Drazniacy syropowo-cukrowy smak, szkoda ze stonowali za bardzo nieco cierpki w smaku rabarbar. Ale jest tu fatalnie i z piana, parwa do ciemno pomaranczowej do jasno czerwonej. Zdecydowanie za slodko tu oj za slodko

500ml bottle shared by djoeye. Covering white head. Bright warm golden body, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate smell of pale malts, mid-sweet. Mild caramel flavours with hints of dusty hops. Mid-sweet malt driven finish. Drinkable. (PivotekaH7, Tromsø 29.01.2018).
