Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a thick, creamy white head. The nose holds pale bread, slight grapefruit, lemon rind. Light to medium sweetflavor with subtle metallic bite, some rindy bitterness grass, dry pale bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more grassy bitterness, some grain husk, pale malt sweetness. Not bad.

Keg from Growler Beers. Dark brown body with ruby highlights and a thick beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma of caramelised sugar, wood and yeast. Flavour of blackcurrant, raisin, coffee and biscuit. Bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy texture. Light fizz. An unusual beer - very tasty though.
