Dark brown, rich white head, good lacing.
Aroma of some spicy hops and dark caramel malts.
Taste of soft grassy hops, citrus, soft roasted malts, dark caramel, fruity dark malts, soft sweet grapefruit, odd slightly earthy yeast note, bit unusual take on the style, but I liked this
Palate - soft carb, medium body, smooth, a tad pithy. Finish - bit of grapefruit comes through more in the tail
Overall - this is a softly spoken BIPA, better than some over the over aggressive hoppy or over roasted attempts at the genre. I like this because it has quite a stout presence, soft roast, fruity dark malts and nice citrus

cask at cloisters ... copper ... creamy light tan head ... soft tofee malt ... quite light nose ... soft dry woody toffee malts ... light bitterness ... decent
