Bottle 33cl. from Saaz Landgraaf @home poured into a teku glass. Gusher. Opaque dark brown colour, good creamy tan head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Rich aroma, roasted malts, caramel, cherries, plums, cocoa, candy sugar, liquorice, alcohol notes. Very sweet onset followed by a light light heavy sweet and slightly bitter taste, roasted malts, candy sugar, dark chocolate, praliné, dark fruits, alcohol, brandy. Full-bodied, oily texture, creamy mouhfeel, average carbonation, sticky toffee aftertaste, light bitter notes, praliné, alcohol very present till the end, well-made but perhaps a bit too one-dimensional, a real sipper, so handle with care and take your time, very nice anyway.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ King William, Leersum. Dutch brewery #454.
Black with a nice big off-white head. Plum and chocolate aroma along with some roasted malts. Not as roasted as most stouts though. Nice sweet chocolate plum taste and a long boozy finish. Really good.

Bottle at home, black beer, medium head. Aroma is fruit, plum, sweet, malt, chocolate. Taste is the same, plums, sweet, chocolate... dont know if my mind is playing tricks but it tastes like the actual rousseau brand, light bitterness, smooth creamy mouthfeel. The aftertaste is more praline like those seafood pralines with a sticky sweet chocolaty aftertaste. nice one.
