Aroma of pale malt, fruits, citrus, light yeast, hops. Flavour is fruity, only light to moderate sweetness, with a nice hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Manages to avoid the trap of ridiculous sweetness in Tripels. Instead, this has a nice bitterness. Quite decent Tripel.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish malt, stale fruits, floral hops, a bit soapy and metallic, hint of alcohol. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium. Has some bitterness, but otherwise this is not much of an IPA, marred by soapy and metallic notes.

Meppel West! Bottle at home. Hazy amber with white head. Sweet biscuity malts, cardboardy, bitter corn fleeces. Medium body and low carbonation. Big malty bitter disaster with sugar on top.

Bottle shared. Bit hazy dark golden with small white head. Sweet malts, lots of biscuits, sofr citrus hops, caramel, bready, Verkade kaakjes if you eat them including the box. Over medium sweet, almost medium bitter. Over medium bodied.

Bottle at home. Bit hazy golden with bit almost white head. Sweet malts, yeasty, bready, soft allspice, light geapefruit peel and some grassy hops. Medium sweet and a bit over medium bitter. Medium bodied. Quite OK blond.

Bottle at Maakun’s. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, some rosepetal floral notes. Reminds me of Saens Zoentje. Sweet and also firm bitter. Medium bodied and quite smooth mouthfeel and a bit low on carbonation.
