Bottled (CK). Hazy orange color, good white head, floating yeast, beer came out of the bottle by force. Aroma has some banana, but also more like Belgian ale kind of mango, apricot fruity and spicey notes. Medium-bodied. Banana fruity with orange’s white underskin flavors. Also some cheap red wine, grapefruits, yeast and spices there. Aroma was more promising than the flavor, but at least this is not anything like Mongozo Banana.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of mlat, fruit, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, fruit, straw, and herbs, but also with an underlying light acidity, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Pours a hazy dark reddish amber with a dense off-white head. Lightly tart cough syrup like aroma. Full-bodied with a soft mouth feel, a lightly woody tartness and an edge of licorice. Lightly tart finish. Interesting. 220309

Cloudy, golden to orangeycoloured, gushing, huge beige head that quite quickly collapses with a good lace; sweetish-fruity (oranges, almonds) nose with a light grainy-malty background and a tinge of yeast; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; sweetish-fruity finish, supported by some hops. More a Belgium Ale than a Heller Bock..........

Bottled (CK, BBE 2009). Dark brown color, good beige head. Spicey aroma with ginger, black pepper and rubber, maybe a bit ashy. Medium-bodied. Caramel malty, spicey, a bit chocolaty flavor. Spices are odd and exotic, black pepper is the closest guess. Nutty and ashy too. Not my cup of tea.

Bottled (CK, BBE 2010). Muddy-murky dark brown-aber color, mostly vanishing off-white head. Odd aroma of glue and fermented fruits. Fizzy, tickling carbonation. Flavor of booze, artifical berry extracts and plum. Acidic and not very good - kind of yeast-went-wrong type of beer. Finnish kilju could taste like this.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Hazy amber colour with mediumsized off-white fluffy/foamy head. Aroma is ginger, banana and some yeasty notes. Flavour is banana, some caramel malts, toffee and spicy notes as well. Mild fruity hops in the finish. Bigtime bananish gingery aftertaste. For being 7 % this is quite nice, as alcohol is wellhidden.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Deep ambery brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is quite strong on leather, spices, malts, earth and some mild fudgelike notes in the background. Flavour is coffee, dark dry fruits, some wood, caramel and also a bit like sugarsweetened oakbarrel notes. Quite ashy aftertaste, after the fruits and wooden & sweet notes leave. Rather interesting brew.
