33 cL bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours clear and golden brown/amber with a lacing off-white head. Mouldy, yeasty and malty aroma - unpleasant. Flavour is mild roasted, yeasty and light spiced. Ends with a light warming finish and a light spice note.

Hazy orange colour with lots of yeasty residue. Fairly sweet aroma, somewhat honeyesque with soft woody notes too. Low carboantion. Slightly sticky sweet texture. Sweet flavour with a hint of bitter orange and some dry maltiness.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, mahogany colour with a short beige foamy head. Yeasty and sweet, slightly toast-malty and distinctively fruity (blueberries) aroma. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, toast-malty and moderately fruity taste with notes of caramel and spicy phenols; balanced toasty, slightly fruity and hoppy finish. Decent Dubbel (29.01.08).

Bottle, 7%. Sweet fruity aroma, but also somehow dryish, like fermented fruit. Cloudy dark red/orange colour. Small head. Black stuff at the bottom of the bottle. The flavour is fruity, like raspberry but rough. The berries’ sugar has fermented, leaving mostly sourness and yeast notes.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr/Ungstrup. Hazy, amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Oddly unclean and chemical aroma. Medium body with unclean, chemical fruit accents. Really synthetic and unpleasant. 120108

Bottled. A murky amber beer with black sediment floating around under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and berries. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of bilberries, as well as a slightl acidic touch, leading to a dry and slightly bitter finish.

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy nut brown color, steady creamy brownish head. Licorice, anise and fennel in the nose. Medium-bodied. Loads of anise in the flavor. It is Gouden Carolus Christmas on drugs. Otherwise some sourness, malts and yeast. Interesting.
