I didn't think much of this beer but I honestly don't think I have ever enjoyed a chocolate cherry beer. I'm not actually that nuts about it as a dessert or candy or whatever. But as a beer. No. And this one, clashing bitterness, alcohol and poorly-developed chocolate and cherry elements, well, it wasn't ever going to change my mind.

It's a straight up kettle sour with berries. Like a generic berry syrup. You can drink it. Or not. But you can.

This is a fairly ok hazy pale with some grapefruit added. I barely had any reaction to it at all, which is the norm for Shore Line.

Pale, light gold. Bright. There's a bit of herbal hop on the nose. The palate is the same, with a sweet sticky pale malt. So it's not especially amazing but decent.

On tap at Shore Line, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out pithy stone fruits, earthy hops, and bready malt. Flavour is bitter, with citrus hops, earthy notes, and some chalk. The clarity ain't great but it's drinkable enough.

On tap at Shore Line, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals gentle tart cherry and some dry cocoa powder, but it's pretty faint. Flavour is similar, with light cocoa and cherry, and a soft toasted malt base. Needs much more oomph. Drinkable but very underwhelming. Not good.

On tap at Shore Line, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh grapefruit zest and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is citrusy, with bitter grapefruit and crisp biscuity malt. Bitter but without depth or anything much interesting. Meh.

On tap at Shore Line, pours a hazy bright maraschino cherry red with a small white head. Aroma is full of red berries, with gentle dry hopping and a bit of lacto. Flavour is strangely balanced, with a jagged mix of berries and clashing dry hop notes. Not a good combo, or at least not well-executed. Drinkable, but that's it.

On tap at Shore Line, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly neutral, with gentle peach character showing. Flavour is very mineraly, with subdued peaches and spritzy water. Really unimpressive expression of the peaches. Very mineraly palate. Poor.

On tap at Shore Line, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is crisp, with grassy hops and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is crisp and grassy, with a decent grassy hop bite and crisp biscuity malt. Decently crafted, with a solid crispness. Not the best Czech pils out there, but it's quite pleasant.
