Amber but with a blueish accent. Big thick nitro head. Thick body, lactose and nitro together makes it like soft serve, or something like a Blueberry Julius. It's goofy, not bad if you're just drinking a little bit, but probably not something I'm going to want too much of.

The base is a murky mess but it's got a nice bright and fresh Simcoe character. That base, though. It undermines the overall effect of those hops.

Dull peachish colour. The base sour is off - way too much like funky yoghurt for me. The peach character I like, however, as it's big, bright and fruity. It's not enough, for my taste, but it certainly helps.

Bright gold. Thin head. It's a bit husky-grainy, with light bitterness. Some off flavours, which a lot of stuff here tends to have. Not that I expected much from the Blonde.

Murky trub with a frothing trub head. Harsh aroma, lots of booze up front. Quite bitter, and the malts are a mess. Harsh is right - all bitterness and alcohol. What I don't want in a TIPA. Nope.

Hazy light amber. Thin head. Grassy hop nose. A bit yeasty, and the malts lack brightness. This series would be better with a stronger base beer that really allows the hops to showcase their distinctiveness.

Hazy, dullish colour. Not much head. Light hop, and a bit of phenols in there, too. So a bit cluttered, sub-optimal cleanliness.

Medium brown, toasty, light chocolate notes. It’s pretty straightforward, but decent balance, has just enough body. Wouldn’t mind more complexity but you certainly don’t need it in a basic porter.

Hazy dull pale amber, and not much head. The aroma is banana and bubblegum and comes across sweet. On the palate, it’s way too sweet, even for this style. Probably need to double the bittering hops, because it’s not balanced. Just sticky, and not even bringing out that same bright candyish quality that the aroma has (I’m not nuts about that, but at least it’s appropriate). So it’s muddled, where neither the wheat nor the fermentation character comes across particularly well.

Bright copper colour, thin head. I mean I like that colour. Sweet, mostly caramelly. Hits the red ale spot pretty well, actually. On the low end for bitterness, but just within the realm of balanced. Solid for a fairly uninteresting style.
