Pale pink and opaque. Thick head. The aroma shows lots of sourness, and rhubarb, and a bit of strawberry, too. So precisely as advertised. On the palate, it’s got those elements, though the sourness tastes off, butyric or just a bad pedio thing? Neither know nor care. Super sharp on the finish, and not in a good way. Something went wrong here. It’s also got some weirdo lactose accent that’s pumped up by the nitro. Not a concept I was predisposed to liking anyway, but yeah.

Bright amber colour, with a decent head on it. Sweet, with some herbal hops. The malts push towards cloying but don’t get there all the way. Low bitterness for an IPL, I would say, and not much for hop brightness anywhere.

Dark amber, and bright. Thin head. Lots of rye up front on this, as expected with that colour. Chewy malts. But simple, too, which isn’t good. The hops are minimized – just seems like there’s not that much of them. The apparent bitterness is quite a bit below 50, I will say that. So an okay rye pale, all told.

Really attractive copper colour, with a nice head. A little bit of toastiness, and some caramel as well. Just enough bitterness to balance it out properly. So all told, not bad. More of a straight up amber ale, but not bad.

Very pale yellow, opaque. It’s mostly the bitterness, some oniony stuff, definitely not the brightest galaxy I’ve ever tasted. Quite thin on the palate, which is good for the bitterness but doesn’t necessarily complement the less-than-bright aromatics. So some of what I like, some not so much.

Copper colour, not much head. Looks a bit lifeless. This one’s really sweet on the palate. Some caramel accent, but very little hop character. Almost sticky. The malts aren’t well developed. Yeah, I don’t think anything went all the way wrong with this, but it’s definitely not 100% either.

Black. Pours nitro thick. Lots of peanut butter. Quite assertive about that, and it's pretty artificial of course. Good chocolate. Don't dislike it, but it's not really coming together for me, either.

Dark brown. Light orange on the nose. A bit of orange and chocolate on the palate. Sweetish, kind of light, just okay.

Dark brown. Lots of cocoa, chocolate on the aroma and palate. Some sugars in the finish, so it comes across a bit thick. Seems ale-like, and despite the sweetness it feels thin. It's surprising difficult to style to make. This is a very North American-tasting attempt.

Copper and bright. Smells piney. Tastes sweeter, maybe caramel but definitely the malts are more noticeable than the hops on the palate. The 70 IBUs aren't coming across that strong here. It's okay, as a result, as I'd love more of that rich pineyness from the aroma.
