Nice melon nose. Hazy. It's a bit husky on the palate, and while hll melon is a really nice aroma hop, it's a bit weird as a bittering hop. Without a strong malt base, it sort of comes undone after a nice aroma, which is too bad.

Dark brown with a thin head. A bit of dark sugar and a bit fruity on the nose. Definitely more on the fruity side, kind of like a low alc foreign stout (which a lot of FES actually is now). As an oatmeal stout, whatever, but thinking the FES way, good.

Opaque pale yellow. Thick head. Light fruity hop note, with medium melon taste. A bit yeasty, low bitterness. It's okay.

Bright straw colour. Just a thin head. Has a little bit of a grassy smell. Fairly low bitterness for the style – it’s at the Budvar level so still pilsner but getting too sweet for me. Again, some grassy sort of noble hops.

Very pale whitish yellow. Very thin head. On the nose, a bit of peach and some citrusy hops. On the palate, this balances out a lot of elements – sweet malt, sweeter lactose, tart peaches and citrusy bittering hops. Surprised how well this works, actually.

Dark amber-brown with a thin head. Smells more on the sweet, bland sugar style. Light bitterness, but also a bit of tartness. Meh. It’s okay but definitely there’s things I’m not liking. If this was Victorian England in a quiet rural pub I’d be okay with a bit of tartness in my pint of brown, but on a 37 degree day in Kelowna, not really sure this works for me.

Light amber colour, just a thin head. On the nose, a bit of orange and a bit of grapefruit. Sort of an old school sort of character. A touch of sweetness from the light crystal malts. All told, though, it’s simple, and comes across maybe like Liberty Ale, which on one hand is a legendary comparable but on the other hand it’s not 1985.

Very pale, and bright, with just a thin head. Maybe a bit of hop spiciness on the nose, but honestly this isn’t really doing much for me. Low bitterness, some sticky malts. Again, bubblegum phenols like they don’t have temperature control in the Okanagan summer. Dunno. I mean, El Dorado is one my magic hops, and this doesn’t do anything for me.

Quite pale, and bright. Thin head. On the nose, there isn’t much going on. On the palate, it’s a bit tinny, thin, a little bitterness, some random fruitiness, but also some bubblegum. Fermentation got a little wonky here, and there’s nothing showing through that makes me want to have more.

Pinkish, slight haze. No head. Has a mellow tartness, nice black currant that's both tart and some sugary syrup stuff as well, but that to me gives it a nice balance. Good for a basic fruit sour.
