13/12/2025. Bottle from Bistro de la Mer, Marigot, Saint Martin. Enjoyed on Marella Discovery 2 during the sea day voyage en route to Bonaire. Very slightly hazy pour with a short lasting white head. Aroma is very herbal, coriander, thyme, wheaty, grassy, citrus, spiced. Mellow sweetness, light bitterness, touch of drying tartness. Light bodied, lively. An interesting wit, but a little lacklustre.

7/12/2025. Draft at Blue Bitch Brew Bar, Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. Good pour. Very smooth brew. Nice caramel malt sweetness. Enjoyable.

7/12/2025. Bottle at Bistro de la Mer, Marigot, St Martin. Slightly hazed pour. Big foamy head. Old skool IPA aroma and taste. Good bitterness, complimented with some syrupy sweetness. Good body too. Very flavoursome. Enjoyed this.

Draft pours a rich black color that is crowned with a light brown head that clings to the glass as you drink. Silky mouthfeel, mild chocolate flavor, evenly balanced, very nice stout.

Draft pours clear gold with mild carbonation and a thin white head that quickly reduces to lace. Silky mouthfeel with slight smoky flavor, well balanced, pleasant.

Draft pours cloudy gold with strong carbonation and a small white head that reduces to lace. Silky mouthfeel gently flavored with passion fruit and pleasantly sour. Very nice!

Draft pours clear gold with mild carbonation and a white head that lingers. Silky mouthfeel, evenly balanced with a slight bitter finish - less bitter than I would expect for an IPA. Enjoyable.

Bottle in one of the Philipsburg beach bars. I honestly expected this to be a lot worse, but turns out it’s a more or less ok beer, pretty much an Am light lager. Full disclosure is that the 31 degrees celsius and over 65% humidity might have deluted my judgment but hey, the here and now is a legit factor.

Can from Kalua, had this on the beach. If I’m being honest, I didn’t have much expectations about this beer, similarly to their lager, and just like by their lager, I was pleasantly surprised. I mean this is nothing I haven’t seen before, but it’s got a decent intensity, the hops are definitely there and they’re resinous and grassy, the body is slightly maltier than I would’ve liked but this is more on me than the brewers. All in all a totally decent beer, quelle surprise.
