Deep clear red body and little foam, huge buttery cherry on the nose that's not too exciting. Flavour is tart sangria notes, sweet fruit, still buttery. Aftertaste stinks, but otherwise enjoyable.

Bright, dullish amber. Not much head. This has a mild hop character, some mellow caramel. Not really bringing any significantly awesome character.

Bright, like when was a kveik beer bright, right? Thin head. There’s a bit of creaminess to the body, a really sweet kiss of pale malt, and then there’s a bit of herbaceous hop in there as well. It’s okay, but very sweet and not bringing all that much hop to the table, which is a touch strange.

The South African has a bit of haze on its pale amber colour, and a thin head. Seems like there’s some fermentation wobbliness here, light toasted electric wire phenols – kind of mellow but definitely noticeable. This detracts from any brightness that might exist in other components, like the sooth-efrikken hops themselves.

This looks like fun, that rich passionfruit and mango orangeish colour. On the palate, there’s some mango and some phenols and probably some passionfruit in there as well. I mean, the fruits are 45% each but that 10% phenols buggers it up.

Has very nice foam on a deep clear copper body, smells of bright hops, soft malts, very well balanced. Flavour is nice hoppy bitterness with a malt kick. Mouhtfeel is full and there's nice oiliness. This is very good, a nice step up in quality for these guys.

The aroma is flintstones candy hops, chalkiness galore, though in a nice way. Has good foam on a clearish gold body. Flavour is bright hops, citrus notes, pine in the right way. Mouthfeel is crisp and oily. This is very nice.

Soft passionfruit aroma, it was poured too high so has no foam. Flavour is good muddy passionfruit, some okay tartness. Mouthfeel is refreshing and juicy. It's good enough for this hot summer day.

There's an aroma of nice hops working well with the sourness, has modest gold body with little foam. Flavour is bitter and citrusy, not great but kind of refreshing. Mouthfeel has good tartness, some bitter citrus. It's not bad, a little wonky, but working reasonably well.

Cask at the 8 x 8 Langley cask festival. The aroma is good coconut and hops, has good foam on a cloudy orange body. Flavour is bright hops and soft coconut. Mouthfeel is full with good oiliness. This is probably their best beer so far, a mile ahead of the stuff I tried on tap earlier in the afternoon.
