Clear copper body and little foam on top. Soft hops on the nose, a bit of malt. Flavour is semi sweet hops and a hint of malt with bitterness. A little thin on the mouth but it comes across as refreshing. Perfectly average.

More or less clear brown body and okay light beige foam on top. Very faint malt aroma, like really very faint. Sweet caramel flavour, vague malt, kind of thin. Missing the mark, really just brown sugar water.

Very faint grain sweetness on the noee, has a clear yellow body with minimal head. Flavour is soft hops mixed with lager grain. Full enough on the mouth but just incredibly boring.

On tap at Five Brews, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle chocolate malt upfront, with a very soft toasted bready malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with soft cocoa dominating. Not much depth, but the flavour simplicity is quite pleasant. Not bad.

On tap at Five Brews, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle dank hops, biscuity malt and light citrus. Flavour is bright and clean, with piney hops, light dankness, and biscuity malt. Bright and crisp. Nicely done.

On tap at Five Roads, pours a clear dull copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy rye, with gentle spiciness, and biscuity malt. Flavour is full of diacetyl, with gentle earthy hops, and too much butter to stomach. Needs cleaning up.

On tap at Five Roads, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma smells like disinfectant, with lots of cleaner and little else discernible. Flavour is better, with clove, gentle spices and wheat. Tastes better than it smells.
