On tap at Sookram's, pours jet black with a small light brown head. Aroma is robust, with lots of roasted malt, followed by cocoa and a touch of espresso. Wonderfully balanced and complex. Excellent stuff.

On tap at Sookram's, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is laid back, with gentle lacto upfront and a touch of floral dry hopping. Flavour is loaded with yogurty lacto upfront, with dry hopping accentuating this. Not very complex but it's executed decently for what it is.

On tap at Sookram's, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops upfront, with a touch of pine, and toasted caramel. Flavour is well-balanced, with caramel malt and resinous hops. Nice malt and hop balance. Good stuff.

On tap at Sookram's, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out fresh bready malt, with a touch of caramel. Flavour is quite assertive for the style, with toasted caramel and bready malt. Dry and surprisingly flavourful for the style. Frankly, a really good Cali Common.

On tap at Sookram's, pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma brings out grassy hops, crisp crackery malt, and a slightly herbaceous crunch. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh grassy hops, crisp crackery malt, and slight herbal notes. Grassy and biting. Nicely done.

Clear brown body and minimal head. Very soft caramel on the nose. Flavour is chewy malts with some vague hop sharpness. Crisp on the mouth. Adequate though not exceptional.

473ml can found in Winnipeg. Okay clear lighter gold and big foam but disappears fast. Sweet grain on the nose. Flavour is chewy sugary grains with a wet finish. Substandard pilsner.

473ml can found in Winnipeg. Smells of awkward peach and plasticky hops, has a muddy gold body with fast disappearing head. Flavour is a soft mix of malt, sour notes, and hops. Sort of crisp finish. Kind of an awkward mess.
