19/12/2018. Bottle from Beervana, Santiago. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit juice, flowers, grass, vanilla, citrus, caramel and passion fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Strong bitter finish, slightly unpleasant. Bit artificial.

330ml bottle found in Santiago. I needed to pour it aggressively like Mauritanian tea but it did get some good beige creamy head and a very jet black body. Smells like a weird funk of shoe polish, burnt wood, aged leather, and licorice. The flavour is all sorts of funky smoked wood with just a hint of dry molasses. Medium finish, not too oily. A pretty good experiment, rather heavy, but abv is invisible.

Reveals foam only when poured aggressively, on top of a yellow body. Soft aroma of pineapple and apricot skin. Flavour is mellow lemon zest. Good mouthfeel, nice balance of oiliness. Otherwise a very unspectacular IPA.
