Dark amber color. The big sweetness makes of this an easily drinkable one, but anyway it’s quite poor.

Brown, like Coke. Quite strong bread aroma, sweet; bran. Very sweet, light tamarind, quite strong caramel; candies. Sweet final. A very easy soft drink (and probably healthier than sodas)..

Bottled. Nut brown. Fruits and grass up front. Very swet and soda like. Syrupy thick mouthfeel. Much too sweet for me...

Bottled. Clear golden. Malt aroma. Sweet with a touch of grassy hops and butterscotch. Fairly firm. Medium bitterness. Pretty good.

Golden color. Sweet malt aroma, reminding a Barley Wine (but lighter), with fruity notes (yellow peach, mango, banana…). The taste is a mix between the barley wine and the strong lager, with some maltiness but surprisingly quite dry, and not able to hide the alcohol; also a bit harsh/metallic. The final, not aromatic, at least is bold.

Pale yellow, quite lively, but disappearing carbonation to slim white head, fast gone. Very grainy smell, bit of chaff, ending grassy or hay. Taste is much more malty, including roasted malt despite its pale coulour. Sweet, and a fair bit of alcohol. Alcohol maybe contributes to a rather thin mouthfeel. And obviously to the alcoholburn. Not exactly my favourite, without being bad - just a tad unrefined. I'd call this a strong lager, rather.

A dark orange beer with a fine bubbly head that disappears fast. The aroma is very sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is very sweet malty too with notes of caramel and alcohol. It ends on an OK bitterness. All in all it is a bit too sweet for me - or not complex enough in the flavors, which can conceil the alchol.

Bottled. Now I can add Denmark to my scant list of countries sampled. Dark brown color under a thin head. Taste is more light a lighter Belgian than a bock to me. Alcohol and sugar taste are apparent in a touch of rum. Not much to make it stand out, but enjoyable nonetheless.

The aroma is very malty sweet with notes of straws and alcohol. The color is orange and in a snifter it has a beutiful head - I don't rember it like that from drinking it from plain glasses. The flavor is rather simple but the palate is great. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast, caramel, hints of sirup, before the alcohol makes its presence known, first as a tickling across the tongue but in the end as a plain alcohol flavor that lingers. I really gives You the warmth on a snowy night in Denmark. For me the alcohol is too present which draws my grade down - I rather like the dark version since the alcohol is better hidden.

Clearly oxidized, but well balanced; good caramel, lean, sweet and soft. Very nice.

Dark amber color; thin cap. Malty and fruity aroma (light pineapple and banana). Good body strength; hides very well the alcohol, has a strong malt, caramel and light banana character, but it’s far from being complex!

Dark amber color, poor head. Insignificant aroma, with some caramel, malt, sweetness, very light vanilla. Quite thin mouthfeel, not hiding the alcohol content, and just with some burnt caramel, balanced at the end by a quite strong bitterness; even less interesting than the light version.
