(Draught at De Prael Proeflokaal, Amsterdam, 26 July 2013) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with bread, peaches, citrus, hay and a touch of yeast. Fruity, malty taste with notes of bread, grass, tropical fruit and a solid citric/resinous bitterness in a finish with a touch of yeast. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty beer with an impressive hop presence. Nice one.

Bottle @ WWT III. Cloudy yellow milikish colour, thin white head, lots of sediment. Nose is slightly sour, yoghurt, whey. Flavour is wheat, English yeast, biscuit malts, a bit hoppy, very bitter. Finish is bitter and dry. This beer is not finished yet.
Tap @ Arendsnest. Nose and taste of caramel malts, fairly hoppy, medium bitterness. A lot better than the bottle one. +1

Tap @ Arendsnest, small sample. Slight hazy golden color, short head. Soft hoppy aroma, bit flowery, some citrus, some grainy wheat as well. Medium bitterness, bit dry. There is a tiny bit of yeast notes present, but for a Dutch brew it’s pretty clean, though not as clean as it should be imo. Decent brew, but as always, de Prael fails to impress me.

Original rating March 19, 2012: Tasting session @ Brewery De Prael, Amsterdam. Small to medium sized white head, hazy yellow color. Smell malts, hops, bitter, grass, straw, hay. Tastes the same, pretty grassy, hay, bitterness and hops. Medi-um carbonation, medium body. [7-3-7-3-14] -- Re-rate July 20th 2013: Sampled from bottle @ WWT III. Opaque hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops, lightly bitter. Highly carbonated, medium body. Decent beer but that’s about it. Has potential though. [7-3-7-3-13]

Bottle at WWT3. Poured a cloudy light amber with a broken white head. The aroma is yeasty with some citrus notes. The flavour is medium bitter with a little yeast, and malt on the palate and loads of liqourice in the long lasting finish. Rather refreshing!

Hazy, dark blond colour. Aroma has pale malts and sweet & citric fruits. Quite a good balance. There’s a malty background, light sweetness, fruity taste of grapefruit and citrus peel. Body is quite thin but overall it’s quite light and easy to drink.
