Tap at De Prael Den Haag. Hazy orange golden with short lasting off white head. Bitter grass, light malts, soft yeast and veggies, mineral water. Light sweet and medium bitter. Just medium bodied with dry finish.

Cette IPA ne restera pas dans mes annales. Pas qu'elle soit mauvaise, mais tant en terme de complexité qu'en terme d'équilibre, nous ne sommes pas au top. Robe dorée (EBC aux alentours de 22), l'effervescence peu poussée ne nous donne pas droit à de la mousse. Le nez est plutôt avenant, orange, pêche, miel, mangue accompagnée d'une amertume herbacée tranchant avec la douceur du fruit. L'amertume est marquée dès l'attaque. C'est un goût de Schweppes qui parvient directement avec, en complément de la pêche. La densité aromatique est néanmoins un peu faible avec un texture que je trouve trop liquide. La deuxième bouche se densifie quelque peu tout de même. L'amertume y est également croissante avec des arômes de pêche et de mangue se positionnant derrière. L'arrière bouche se positionne principalement sur l'amertume, sur des arômes de pamplemousse accompagnés de notes épicées. La troisième bouche, la plus amère (ressenti aux environs de 50) revient sur des arômes de Scweppes avant de nous amener vers un final qui retombe rapidement et laissant des notes épicées en bouche. Le sucre est un peu trop présent et l'alcool quant à lui un peu faiblard. Mais l'ensemble manque avant tout de cohérence. Bière d'un soir.

On tap at De Prael. Hazy light orange with a small white head. Kind of mild with citrus, tangerine, light malt and hints of caramel. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

33cl bottle-shared by Gary+Pam-retaining white-hazy gold. A-orange, sweet lt malt. T-astringent bitter, lt malt. 745210-2.8

Bottle from an Albert Heijn in Ghent. Pours hazy dark yellow/ochre with a small, foamy, white head. The aroma contains hops, grass, hay, lots of yeast, malt, citrus, bread and (cooked) vegetable. It tastes medium to heavy bitter with a rather short finish, almost astringent, bit dry. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation; bordering on soapy but not yet there, luckily. Not exactly an explosion of taste; average at best.

Off white thin head soon left a cover on an opaque golden orange coloured, still body. Minimal aroma - I’ve got a blocked nose so lacking on the smells. Medium bodied with a nice carbonated feel over the tongue. Clean & dry on the aft. Bitter/Sweet orange, spicy & tangerine with a hoppy finish
